A Combat Skill used to wield melee weapons.

Skill Use Action Description
Melee Attack (Heavy)

Standard

At-will; you attack with a heavy melee weapon. Your skill check sets the DC of any Parry or Dodge the enemy might have.

Melee Attack (Light)

Standard

At-will; you attack with a light melee weapon. Your skill check sets the DC of any Parry or Dodge the enemy might have.

Feat Prerequisite Description
Cleave

-

On successful hit with a heavy weapon, you may chain to another target within reach.

Deadly Precision

-

You may subtract a number from your hit chance with a light weapon and add it to critical chance. Adjusting this number is a free action.

Flurry

-

Whenever your attack with a light weapon misses or is avoided, you may immediately attempt to hit again. Max once/attack.

Power Attack

-

You augment a single melee attack with a heavy weapon, increasing damage by +100%, at the cost of 1 Stamina. Stackable.

Power Charge

-

On a charge with a heavy weapon, you gain +100% damage.

Rapid Strike

-

You may replace a normal attack with a light weapon with two attacks; each attack suffers a -50% hit penalty.

Feat Prerequisite Description
Improved Sunder

-

The force of your blows with a heavy weapon is such that the enemy must pass a Con check (opposed to your hit result) upon a successful hit in order to hold on to his weapon.

Knockback

-

Optionally, your melee attacks with a heavy weapon cause a push equal to your natural reach.

Knockdown

-

Your melee attacks with a heavy weapon have a chance to cause knockdown equal to the weapon's base Hit Power bonus (Fort negates).

Stay Inside

-

When inside an opponent's square, if the opponent moves, you may take an immediate 5-ft step to stay with the opponent.

Step Inside

-

When entering an opponent's square, you do not provoke an AOO, nor are you flat-footed while inside. (You still suffer the normal penalties to hit with medium and large weapons)

Whirlwind Attack

-

Recharge 33%, augment; a single melee attack with a light weapon or maneuver becomes a close burst with radius equal to your weapon's reach, striking all enemies within range once.

Feat Prerequisite Description
Bladestorm Whirlwind Attack

Costs 5 Stamina, std; you create a path of destruction as you move up to your normal walking speed (not provoking) and hit every creature within 1 square of the path with normal weapon damage +100% (treated as an area effect).
